GOAP: Global Open Access Portal

The Global Open Access Portal (GOAP) presents seamless access to a wide array of open access resources worldwide. Building on the past aspects, GOAP presently incorporates dynamic content sourced from publicly available information. GOAP includes country-wise Open Access profiles highlighting the key OA initiatives, mandates, events and publications in countries worldwide. Additionally GOAP provides workflows to facilitate publishing non-commercial journals. GOAP collates important resources such as open journals, repositories, articles and FAQs for trending domains such as Covid-19, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. Another important feature presented is the OER on Open Access which offers Open Access learning resources on OA, in an LMS environment, provided for researchers and librarians who are responsible for facilitating use of Open Access resources.

GOAP 2.0 is a collaborative effort of UNESCO, Redalyc, Indian Statistical Institute and AmeliCA and was redeveloped under the guidance of a multi-stakeholder advisory committee..
